ABOUT SOFIA
Sofia completed her bachelor’s degree in Technical Management with a concentration in Health Service. During the latter years of her undergraduate studies, Sofia began her career in the legal profession as a family-based immigration paralegal. From there she continued into criminal defense and went on to earn a Paralegal Certificate from Emory University
Since the inception of Hirani Consulting in August 2020, Sofia has participated in numerous criminal defense trials and trial preparations in the federal district courts of Atlanta and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Other areas that Sofia has assisted in include fintech, commercial law, federal criminal appeals, and estate planning.
Sofia values giving back to the community and was active as a volunteer paralegal with the Georgia Justice Project (GJP) as well as the Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network (GAIN).
Sofia enjoys reading, coffee shops, and taking part in recreational flag football leagues.
